Jack White Shares Acoustic Version Of The Raconteurs’ ‘Carolina Drama’

Musician/singer-songwriter Jack White, through his Third Man Records label, is going to release acoustic versions of songs from all over his discography. This project, simply titled ‘Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016,’ is set to be released next week on September 9. This means we’re going to hear acoustic versions of songs from The White Stripes as well as other bands White has been in, and his own solo career.

This week we’ve been given a previously unreleased acoustic version of the song “Carolina Drama” from The Raconteurs album ‘Consolers of the Lonely.’ The song is nearly a decade old and Jack is able to bring so much emotion to the track, with hauntingly beautiful instrumentation and faint background vocals. The man is a genius. Listen below and let us know what you think.
