Zack de la Rocha, poet, activist, rapper and frontman for Rage Against the Machine, has finally started delivering solo music. It’s about time, considering that his RATM bandmates Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Brad Wilk have teamed with Chuck D, DJ Lord and rapper B-Real to form Prophets of Rage. It turns out Zack has been in the studio making some hits of his own.

Run the Jewels’ El-P, rapper and producer, is hard at work with Killer Mike on their upcoming album Run the Jewels 3. De la Rocha was featured on RTJ2, so it’s no surprise that El-P has decided to produce a song for him in return. And it’s certainly classic El-P, who even confirmed on Twitter that Zack will be releasing a full-length solo project next year. Check out “Digging For Windows” from Zack de la Rocha and let us know what you think.
