The Cool Kids Reveal Title Of New Album: ‘Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe’

Cool Kids at Leaders in Chicago, May 2008

The Cool Kids – Antoine “Sir Michael Rocks” Reed and Evan “Chuck Inglish” Ingersoll – are back. The hip-hop duo announced a few months ago that their long hiatus would be coming to an end. You probably remember them from their amazing EP The Bake Sale, or their first studio album When Fish Ride Bicycles. Where have they been? What can we expect? What is the title of their upcoming project? Well, the two give up all those details in a new interview with the No Jumper podcast.

First off, the name of their upcoming album is Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe. This certainly gives us some high expectations, with a bold title like that. “It’s scary, low key,” Inglish said, describing the sound of the album. “It shows you how much we probably missed working with each other. But we know each other’s ways now.”
