Chicago emcee Mick Jenkins is gearing up to finally release his debut album this week. After two pheonomonal prior projects – his mixtape The Water[s] and his EP Wave(s) – Jenkins’ debut studio LP The Healing Component will be dropping on Friday, September 23. Fans can rejoice.
Mick released his latest single, “Fall Through,” exclusively on Beats 1 this week. The rapper talks about power shifts and changes, over some crisp percussion, with a lot of atmosphere in the background. In addition, Mick Jenkins revealed tour dates that will take place at the end of the month. The Healing Component will be dropping on Friday. Let us know what you think.
