Drake’s ‘Views’ Is Breaking Apple Music Streaming Records

It looks like Drake just continues to win. The Toronto rapper’s latest project Views rested quite comfortably at the top of the Billboard 200 for 12 consecutive weeks. It took a bit of a break for about 7 weeks, and now it’s back on top. And an even bigger milestone was reached. Views has become the first album on Apple Music to reach over 1 billion streams. He even got a commemorative plaque to celebrate, which he shared with his fans on Instagram.

Not only that, but Drake isn’t done. In addition, he’s working on new music. There’s going to be a collab album with Kanye, as well as his own solo stuff.

“I’m about six, maybe seven new songs in. Just getting warmed up. I don’t know what I’m going to do with it, I don’t know what it’s going to be, but what I do know is I can’t wait to come back to the mother f***ing Tacoma Dome and perform all that s**t for y’all,” Drake said at the Tacoma Dome in Washington.
