Vic Mensa Confronts Police Brutality In "16 Shots" Video

Chicago rapper Vic Mensa is sharing a new music video with us this week. The video is for his song “16 Shots” from his EP There’s A Lot Going On. Vic talked about some personal and very emotional things on this project, like the shooting of Laquan McDonald. This is detailed in the song “16 Shots,” which now has some very powerful imagery. We see Mensa literally confronting police officers and law enforcement, while he is rapping about the injustice and brutality within the community. You’ll also seem wearing a jacket that says “RESIST.”

So check out the video and let us know what you think.
