Natalise & The Sunset Run Show Us What's Really Important With "The Lucky Ones"

Sometimes it is important to get a reminder of what really matters in life. Natalise + the Sunset Run are a pop/alternative band who are doing just that with their video for “The Lucky Ones.”

Natalise has been playing the piano since she was 3-years-old, with a strong background in classical music. Her music carries a minimalist beauty to it. That can be felt all over her new EP, Glimpses of the Sun.

“When I wrote the ‘The Lucky Ones,’ it was after a few key events occurred,” Natalise says. “I was going through a sort of deep introspection and sadness for a period of time after having watched two loved ones around me get diagnosed with stage 1 and 2 forms of cancer. They were both very young, beautiful, and talented. It was a shock to the system and really one of those times you ask, “Why them? Why do bad things happen to good people?”

Why is why it’s important to focus on what you have, as well as make every moment count. This is what the video is all about. Watch the video and leave your thoughts below. In addition, you can check out Natalise & the Sunset Run on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You can find the EP on Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal.
