Oddisee Reveals A New Album 'The Iceberg,' A World Tour And Other "Things"

Oddisee is a artist hip-hop you need to be familiar with if you’re not already. His album The Good Fight was one of the best hip-hop projects of 2015 and was highly slept on. He is also a member of The Diamond District – DC hip-hop group created by Oddisee, Uptown XO & yU the 78er. As an emcee as well as a producer, Oddisee is a dangerous dude. He is a large collection of fantastic projects, songs and beats.

His newest work, The Iceberg, is definitely another example. You’ll truly know when it drops February 24th, 2017.

Here is how the album is described on his Bandcamp page: “‘The Iceberg’ is a distillation of stereotypical tropes in hip-hop and beyond, 12 tracks about money, sex, politics, race and religion that appear superficial until his multi-dimensional lyrics unfurl to expose the complexities of individuality and identity: how we see ourselves and how others see us. Deeply soulful, and shot through with jazz, Go-go, gospel, thick r&b and hard beats, the album is a timely, poetic statement.”

For now, you can hear the single “Things” up above. In addition, you can check out his dates for his world tour down below. Let us know your thoughts.
