Jamiroquai Are Up On "Cloud 9"

We’re pretty excited that Jamiroquai will be releasing a new album soon, right? In anticipation of the new record, the group has now released their second single, “Cloud 9.” It’s a cool little dance track with some light disco vibes, with a little dash of funk thrown in for good measure. Sonically, it’s a different direction from their last single “Automaton.” This is more of what we’re used to hearing from Jamiroquai.

In a press release, frontman Jay Kay says: “‘Cloud 9’ is a song that’s written in the style that I hope people know us for and are familiar with. It’s a song that if anyone that has been jilted and yet found love somewhere else will no doubt relate to. Can’t wait for you to hear it – get in the car, stick it on the radio and just drive.”
