Beyoncé was supposed to be headlining the Coachella 2017 Music Festival this year, along with Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar. But now, due to her pregnancy, her doctors have insisted that she cancel her appearance. But who will be replacing her? Well, we found out this week that it’s Lady Gaga.
The Joanne singer will be performing both weekends of the festival, Saturdays April 15 and 22. According to Billboard, organizers are finalizing the deal and will be making a formal announcement sometime this week.
If you’re bummed about Beyoncé not performing this year, she has been confirmed to be headlining for 2018. Lady Gaga performing this year will be the first time a female artist has headlined since Bjork in 2007.
