JR JR Lends “Same Dark Places” to Netflix series ’13 Reasons Why’

27views

Following the massive success of their song “Gone”, JR JR releases “Same Dark Places”.

JR JR, formerly Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., burst into the mainstream with “Gone” although they already had two albums in their discography at the time. “Gone” was featured in several television commercials and movies, notably Sausage Party and Bad Moms. JR JR’s self-titled third album, the first with the shortened moniker, is the bands most successful album.

Now, you can hear JR JR’s newest song on Netflix hit series 13 Reasons Why. “Same Dark Places” speaks to being your own person with the understanding that everyone is trying to figure out their own place in the world. We all struggle to find our way through difficult times. “Same Dark Places” explains that there are people who can help because they’ve been through that too.

“Same Dark Places” is another catchy song from JR JR, and has an excellent message. New music from JR JR should be on the horizon, as their last album was released back in 2015.

Watch the lyric video for “Same Dark Places” below. JR JR, featuring “Gone”, is available on Apple Music and Spotify. 13 Reasons Why was released on March 31, and is available to stream in full on Netflix.
